From different species of red algae. The algae are subjected to various washings (hot and cold), followed by a regulated treatment to increase their protein content. The drying and milling steps takes place under controlled conditions, and it results in an excellent raw material for animal feed.

Due to its high levels of protein, fiber, minerals and trace elements such as calcium, sodium, magnesium, chlorine, iron, zinc and manganese, this meal is a particularly suitable source of feed for ruminants: cattle, sheep and goats.

It is used as an ingredient in the production of animal feed.
